Oct 30, 2023 9:28 AM

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to a four-year, $107.5 million contract extension with linebacker Rashan Gary.

A first-round pick in 2019, Gary had been playing this season on the $10.892 million fifth-year option of his rookie contract.

The new deal includes $96 million in new money, including a $34,646,928 signing bonus, according to a source. The total value of the deal, which runs through the 2027 season, could be worth up to $107,532,706 including all bonuses.

Gary was in line for an extension well before this until he tore the ACL in his left knee last November.

Seahawks Reuniting With Frank Clark

Oct 26, 2023 8:04 AM

In need of help on defense, the Seattle Seahawks are bringing back Frank Clark.

Clark had interest from several teams, but wanted to return to where he began his career, according to a source.

"Having background and history with him, it's a natural spot for him to play with us and see if he can get in the rotation and help us out and see how it goes," Pete Carroll said.

Clark, 30, has been a free agent since the Denver Broncos released him Oct. 14.

Jonathan Taylor Calls New Deal A Win For All RBs

Oct 9, 2023 8:23 AM

Jonathan Taylor believes the contract he received from the Indianapolis Colts is a win for all running backs.

Taylor and the Colts agreed to a three-year, $42 million deal on Saturday that ended an acrimonious standoff.

"I definitely think it is [a shift]," Taylor said of the market for his position. "Anytime a running back can go out there and perform but also have some security, it just shows that running backs are essential."
